This is a story of an old man in a village who doesn’t listen carefully to his wife. Not listening brings him a little trouble, in this good-hearted tale, when the old man brings la puerta, a door, instead of el puerco, a pig, to a party at his wife’s request. Some of the activities in this unit are making door decorations, learning to count in Spanish, and doing a sink or float experiment.
